Copenhagen Distortion - a celebration of Copenhagen Nightlife

Hvad er Distortion?
Copenhagen Distortion har eksisteret siden 1998 og bliver i år afholdt fra
den 2-6 juni 2004. Formålet er at hylde Københavns natteliv samt at fremvise
det nyeste inden for musik, mode og kunst - nationalt og internationalt. Fra
at være en lille lokal klub-festival i slutningen af halvfemserne har
Distortion nu etableret sig som et absolut højdepunkt for københavnske
nattemennesker. Et af Distortions mål er at skabe en festival der er for
alle og derfor er et bredt udvalg af innovative subkulturer repræsenteret,
hvad enten det er elektronisk, rock, reggae eller noget helt andet.Distortion

Program:
Distortion består i år af 22 events der strækker sig over 5 dage med 66
optrædende kunstnere. Festerne kommer til at foregå i én bydel ad gangen -
onsdag på Nørrebro, torsdag på Christiania, fredag på Vesterbro, lørdag på
Islands Brygge og søndag i City. Stort set alle mulige som umulige steder
bliver taget i brug, heriblandt en party båd, en party bus, Vega, Rust,
Basement, Siloen, Hacienda i Østedsparken med mange flere. Næsten alle
Københavnske klubber og kulturinstanser er repræsenteret samt nogle af de
bedste og mest cutting-edge navne fra udlandet.
