Nils Stærk is pleased to present in his first one-person exhibition in Europe, work by Brooklyn based artist Matthew Ronay (born 1976).

Ronay says of the work "From behind a fence we saw a party of people at the suns height who’s drinking and smoking lead to some instances with importance exponentially outstripping anything ever done intentionally. And their conversations had slippage at a distance"

Matthew Ronay received his MFA from Yale University. Ronay has been featured in Artists Imagine Architecture, The Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston, Massachusetts, organized by Jessica Morgan, Sudden Glory: Sight Gags and Slapstick in Contemporary Art, Logan Gallery, CCAC Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, San Francisco, organized by Ralph Rugoff, and a one-person exhibition with Marc Foxx in Los Angeles.
