About kopenhagen.dk
kopenhagen.dk is an entirely Internet based art and artists magazine
especially focused on the more dynamic part of the contemporary
art scene in Denmark and on keeping a good lookout for what's going
on in neighbouring countries such as Sweden, but also other centres
around Europe and ultimately the rest of the world.
kopenhagen.dk is about redefining the infrastructure of the local
art community by providing an extended access to what is going on,
for the benefit of the general public, ourselves and each other.
This is access intent on reaching beyond the usual formations set
by the more established galleries, art institutions and media.
kopenhagen.dk is a non-profit project, edited by a group of dedicated
people consisting of artists, art historians, art theorists, writers
and web designers.
By producing interviews, articles and
image reports covering kopenhagen.dk's field of interests, and
by passing on press releases from local
galleries and other exhibition spaces, we offer a direct channel
between art, artist and other people throughout the community, who
actively take part in communicating themes and problematics, which
today's art is about.
With an extensive exhibition calendar
and a weekly newsletter, sent out free to everyone on kopenhagen.dk's
mailing list, we make it possible for audiences, artists and anyone
else to stay informed on current exhibitions and events in the region.
kopenhagen.dk is visited roughly 20.000 times per month (hits)
and there are more than 1.200 e-mail addresses receiving kopenhagen.dk's
newsletter every week. You are welcome to add your e-mail address
to our mailing list, which can be done on the front page of www.kopenhagen.dk.
We gladly receive image- and text material on exhibitions, projects
and events, just as you are very welcome to send your own articles
and /or other material to kopenhagen.dk. We prefer text sent to
kopenhagen.dk as attachment files in word format (doc) or in real
text format (rtf), and images in jpg format.
Please send texts, images and/or any questions or comments you
